Located on the first floor of The University Union at Sac State, the Games Room offers 11 billiards tables, 9 screens for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch gaming, table tennis, and foosball.
Students and campus community members must present a valid Sac State OneCard or download the Union WELL Connect app in order to use equipment. Guests are permitted as long as they are accompanied by a Sac State student or a campus community member with a valid OneCard. Billiards, table tennis, foosball and game consoles are FREE for Sac State students and $5 per hour for faculty/ staff. Credit or OneCard accepted.
We add to our game collection every semester! Check back for updates or speak to an attendant about suggestions.
We host tournaments for billiards, table tennis, and various console games. Tournaments are free, all participants must be a current Sac State Student. Winners will be awarded prizes. Entries are accepted up to the Thursday prior to tournaments at 11:59pm via the Games Room website: https://www.unionwellinc.org/the-university-union/the-nexus-gaming-center/. Discord is the easiest way to communicate over voice, video, and text and it’s FREE! It is a virtual space for open to all current Sac State students to connect with each other based on enjoyed common interests.

Join The University Union Games Room Discord Server.
Once a part of UU Games Room Discord Server you will be instructed to complete a Sac State Student verification form. You must verify student status in order to participate in tournaments and to gain access to additional features of the UU Games Room Discord Server.
